Hello, my friends! It’s a beautiful Monday here in CA. This afternoon it will be 70 degrees and tomorrow 73. I think this warm weather has made me rush spring just a bit. As a result, I decided to make some paper flowers using my SU product. I had seen these flowers made using paint, but I think it is much easier to use our stamp pads. No drying time needed when using the pads. If you are like me, I hate to wait or place things into the oven to speed up the drying process. When you use the stamp pads for color, the drying process is not needed and the results are stunning, YEAH!!!
Also, I used the largest die in the Magnolia Memory Dies to create a leaf. I do that all of the time. I love 3-D items and usually, the projects are large and need a big leaf. This die does the trick.
After Making your flower, place it onto the canvas to determine where you want to stamp your sentiment. The stamp set Ridiculously Awesome is truly awesome for this project.
I used the subtle folder and a bit of stamping just to add even more texture and interest to the leaves. To fill in some space on the canvas I added Metallic Pearls. I feel that the metallic pearls give the canvas just the right bit of elegance.
Kick back, enjoy the show and let me know if you have any questions.
Here is a list of non-SU products that I used. A canvas, skewer, coffee filters, a pencil, hot glue and gun, floral tape.
