Enjoy a spring paper garden while the weather outside tells us it’s winter.
Yesterday as I was working in my shop this idea popped into my head. OMGosh these little flowers are so cute, or at least I think so. They are bright and cheery, fun and they just make me smile. Lined up on a shelf or clustered on a desk just bring happiness to your space.
I used the Dear Doily thinlits to make the flowers and the Gingham Gala 6X6 designer series paper for the leaves, the flower center and to wrap around the spools. This paper is just the cutest. I’m going to show you some more adorable ideas using this dsp tomorrow.
This project is pretty quick and definitely easy. All you need are the Dear Doily thinlits, coordinating cardstock, two punches, your paper trimmer, ribbon, snips, dimensionals, glue dots, and some multipurpose glue. I did run the larger circles through the lace folder but you don’t have to do that. There is also a 1-3/4 circle at the bottom of the spools so that the stick does not fall out. The non-SU items are sticks and spools.
I hope my paper garden brought a smile to your day.
