Hello friends, I’m super excited about my SUDDENLY STAMPING Saturday class.
This class is for every type of stamper, NEW and Experienced. So stop on in on October 26. You have two time options. You can join the fun from 9-11am or from 1-3pm. Which time slot do you want?
At class you will make this adorable Kleenex travel size refillable box and this card.
We are always looking for masculine projects. I call this ensemble my gentleman’s gems. These projects remind me of a gentleman’s smoking room or a gentleman relaxing at home in his house coat.
To add to the awesomeness of this class the projects are perfect for your friend who is under the weather. Men’s cards and Get Well cards ( not to mention easy projects) are always something we stampers are looking for. These projects are rich in color and texture, they use specialty designer series paper and I have written Kleenex refillable box instructions for those who attend this class.
The box is not my orginal idea, I have Liz Shannon to thank for that project. Thank you LIZ!
I know the class date is sudden, so if you can’t make it but you want to make these projects, just let me know. We can arrange another time for you.
If you are a beginner or you have friends that you know would love to learn this craft invite them. This class is a class that is perfect for beginners.
Date: Saturday October 26
Time: 9-11a.m OR 1-3p.m
Cost: a minimum $20.00 order the day of class

Hello friends, Today I thought I would share with you a card that I made for my sister (in-law). Debbie is a very special person so of course, I had to make a very special card for her.
If you don’t recognize these images its because Stampin’ Up! has a new suite available on Nov. 1st. As a demonstrator, I was able to pre-order the suite and start working on samples to show you.
The Suite is called Christmas Is Here Suite Bundle and available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. To ensure we get the product we want I need to have your order request by October 31.
I love the bundle because it can be used all winter long. In fact, I’m working on samples that will work all year round right now.
There is so much I can say about this suite, but check it out for yourself. Note that one of the dies in the set cuts out the largest rose image in the Designer Series Paper. The same die also cuts out the largest image in the stamp set. There are so many gorgeous dies in this suite, I just love them all.
You can order these items individually too. I’ve added pictures of all of the products plus their item numbers below for you.

Good morning friends, Today I have a quick post for you. I’m getting ready to leave for Cabo, however after posting the picture below on the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Planning Place I received a lot of requests for instructions.
I promised to either make a video or post written instructions. Well, it seems that written instructions is what I have time to do.
Yesterday I was busy all day with my monthly open house. The make and take I supplied to all attendees was made using this adorable stamp set ( you can see that card in the privious post). In addition to the make and take I made these two samples for my guests to see. I wanted them to know how versatile this set is. Those who had time made the box and loved it.
Now I’m sharing the instructions to you.
To make this box I used two pieces of Basic Black cardstock cut at 3 X 3-1/2. I scored one piece at 1 inch all the way around. Then the second piece I scored just a hair smaller. To make the second piece a bit smaller you need to score just under 1 inch all the way around. If you score on 15/16 mark the box may be a bit loose when you put them together, so place your cardstock just a hair over that 15/16 line. But if you place your cardstock to close to the 1-inch line, the bottom will be too tight.
Once you have both pieces scored they will look like this
Fold and burnish all your score lines.
You will need your bone folder, your snips (scissors), the Take Your Pick Tool and Tear and Tape. Forgive the look of my bone folder, It is pretty old and has been used a lot.
Next, you will want to cut your tabs. This picture shows you where to cut your score lines. Ignore the tape and punch at this point. I will talk about that in a minute. Right now just notice the cut lines.
In the photo below I’m showing the tape placement. The two tabs on your right are folded up and then the tape is placed on them. The two center tabs are left laying flat and tape is placed on them.
Using your bone folder burnish all your pieces of tape. Then using your take your pick tool remove the protective paper from the tape.
Now fold in the two end tabs to meet ( make sure everything is even ) then secure the tabs together, Then flip up the end tab to secure the end of the box. Do the same to the other side.
On the lid of the box, you will want to punch half of a circle into the center tab on both sides of the box, Having the grab hole allows you to open the box easily.
Once you have formed both the lid and the bottom they will slide inside each other. Embellish as you desire.
After making this box again so I could take some pictures to show you the steps I decided to share with you some other possibilities. You can use the apple punch to embellish this little box,
Caramels fit in the box perfectly. Notice on this box, I punched the pull holes on both the bottom and the top, I only did that because I couldn’t tell which one was the top at the time. So if that happens to you, no worries just punch then both.
But wait there is more. Use the Christmas Tree Punch too. You can peppermints in that box.
Thank you so much for asking for instructions. I’m glad you like my creation. Enjoy your day! I’m off to relax on the beaches of Mexico. Adios!
