Hello friends and welcome to my little world of stamping. Today I made a card for my grandson Mikie and I want to share it with you. Mikie turns 21 on Saturday so I’m sending him this card and some cash. They can always use another dollar in their pocket, right?
Mikie is a Ferrier. He loves all things horses and ranches. He is our family’s true cowboy. Mike recently moved out and is living a ranch hands life. He cares for boarding horses and also holds down his Ferrier job. I’m proud of him he has been doing what he loves since graduating high school and loves every minute of it.
I actually purchase this stamp set with Mikie in mind. It fits him to a tee. I love the sentiments that come in this set. The Happy Birthday is in the set as well as the sentiment that I used on the inside of Mike’s card.
This sentiment is Mike all the way. He loves riding the hills of Paso with the wind at his back and the sun on his face. And of course, he knows we will always be by his side. Could this card be any more perfect for him?
I actually posted the focal point of this card on FaceBook today and my daughter knew immediately that this card was for her son.
Here is the focal point close up for you…
Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso are the colors of choice today. I also used some copper stickers around the top of the heart. This card is very attractive and as close as I can get to making masculine cards, LOL!
Thank you for visiting, please tell me what you think.
