Isn’t this bunny cute? And I LOVE the checkerboard background.
YOUR close up!
Hey Friends, how are you doing today? Thanks for comin’ on over to my post today. Today I’m showing you more hoops. Can you tell I love those little things? I just love how they frame your focal point. And that cute bunny OMG…
This is another quick and easy card. What makes it quick? Well, again PUNCHES…. I just love punches. I’m usually strapped for time so when I can punch out the bunny and punch out the layer piece behind the bunny in a split second I’m happy. The large scallop behind everything is also a punch. So punch punch punch DONE!
The other awesome part of this card is the checkerboard background. We don’t have a folder that makes squares like this so I made my own. To get this pattern you run your card stock through the Big Shot using the NEW simple striped folder. Then you take the card stock out of the folder and flip the card stock and run it through in the opposite direction. COOL HUH? It’s important to flip the card stock other wise you will flatten out the first embossed stripes.
Powder Pink and Whisper White card stock is all you need. The Ink you need is a basic black pad. To color the bunny I used Pool Party and Pink Pirouette Dark blends. That’s it. Well almost, did you see the bunny’s tail? The fluff is the white Embossing Paste.
NOTE: The paste is not listed in the product list (I forgot to list it) and the large scallop punch is retired. So I will be selling mine for $8.00. Let me know if you want it.
I think this is a GREAT baby shower card, Easter card or a card sent just because it’s another great day.
