Good day!  Do you want to know what I believe?  I believe that the Meant To Be Bundle and the Forever-Lovely bundle is MEANT TO BE.  I think combining these bundles creates beautiful things.

I know that I had said a while back that I was going to put the Meant to Be bundle aside and start using other stamps more. And I did, I started using the Forever-Lovely Bundle.  When using the two sets I quickly realized that these two bundles really compliment each other.

Now that Valentines Day is only a few days away I had to start thinking about making a card for my husband.  I know this card is not masculine in any way shape or form but it’s a valentine.  Valentines are a card of love so that is what I was trying to express….LOVE!

This card is very special just like Kenn.  My husband saved me 24 years ago and continues to save me today.  So this card will accompany his favorite red heart candies from See’s.  I going to buy him so many red hearts that he may get sick of them!

I knew I wanted to make a pocket on the front of Kenn’s Valentine.  So I cut out one full heart and then another heart just over half way.  The heart that you cut almost in half is used to make the pocket.  I added adhesive strips to the back of the cut heart to get height.  Now I can pack the pocket full of loveliness.  The little flower that is front and center on the heart was cut out using Whisper White cardstock and colored with markers.  Then Wink Of Stella was used to add shimmer.

The long stem flowers are from the Forever-Lovely bundle.  The colors used are  Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive and Whisper White.  I used the new floral folder to get the texture that most cards need.

The picture below shows you the depth of the pocket.

You can find that adorable silver shredded paper in the SU clearance rack. I’m so happy it’s still available.

Well, what do you think?  Would you give your man a card like this?  Kenn knows I’m a girly girl so I think he may expect his card to be full of foofoo.

For some reason, the punch I used is not listing in the product list.  It is called the Decorative Ribbon Boarder punch and you can find it in the annual catalog.
