Hello friends! I’m wondering, do you like to decorate your home for the holidays? I sure do. I like a little bit of holiday decor to spruce up the home. It just makes me happy.
Last week I had a date with friends. I arrived a little early because I knew that there were shops in the area I would enjoy strolling through. The shops were all decked out for Valentines Day, it was so beautiful everywhere. As I was looking around I saw this bucket full of glimmery hearts. The bucket full of hearts on long sticks was adorable and also pricey, so instead of purchasing them I came home and made my own.
Below is my creation. I saved a bundle of money by making my own. And I even like mine better than theirs, LOL!!!
The paper used to make the hearts is Stampin’ Up’s! Glimmer paper ( the red is retired, sorry). For the sticks, I grabbed some wooden sticks that I had and slipped them into black and red stripe straws. The wooden sticks made the straws stiff for stability that I needed. This project was quick and easy and added so much love to my table.
I used a stamp from the Meant to be bundle and Momento Ink to stamp the sentiment. I love how my bucket has a place to slip a label into it.
Here is a close up of all the shimmer and shine and the sticks. I think the stripes added even more to this eye candy.
That is it for today~Simple but Sweet. Enjoy your day and thank you for stopping by.
Live Loved My Friends ~ Beverlee Product List
Hello friends and thank you for requesting the HOW TO video for my Valentine cups. I must tell you that this little box is an oldie but a goodie, there is nothing new about it. However, I did add a handle to the box which instantly changed the look of the box. Now you can make a box or turn that cute easy box into a paper cup.
Here are the instructions:
I started with an 8-1/2 X 11 piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock
The first thing I did was to cut the cardstock in half at 5-1/2″
Next, I place the 5-1/2 side on the 6 1/2″ mark on my trimmer and cut off 2 inches. Your piece is now 5-1/2″ X 6-1/2″
When I cut the 2″ piece off, I didn’t want to waste it so I cut that piece in half at 1″. Now you have two cup handles.
Place one end of the handle back into your trimmer at the 1/2″ mark and score
Fold the cardstock up at the scoreline and add tear and tape to the tab you created. Then add another piece of tear and tape to the top of the strip as shown. Set aside.
Next, cut your choice of Designer Series Paper at 2″ X 9″
Place tear and tape at both ends. Make sure that the tape goes on the side of the paper that you DO NOT want to show on your project. Set aside.
Now to make the box.
To make your score lines start by placing the 5-1/2″ side at the top of your trimmer and score at 1-1/2″. Turn your cardstock around so you can score the other side at 1-1/2″ also. It should look like this
Place the cardstock back in the trimmer with the 6-1/2″ side at the top and score at 2-1/2″. Now slide your cardstock over to the 4″ mark and score again. Your piece will now look like this.
You will now cut two tabs. On the 2-1/2″ and 4″ score line you will cut up to the 1-1/2″ score line. Do that to both sides and then add your tear and tape as shown.
Remove the protective paper from the tear and tape and fold one side of the box up like this and then do the same on the other side.
Your box is done.
You are now ready to embellish your box. The first thing I did was to add the handle. You will want to run your bone folder over the 1″ by 5-1/2″ cardstock piece to make it curve. Remove the protective paper from the tear and tape that you placed on the tab. Add the tab end of the cardstock strip to the side and bottom of your box.
Then remove the protective paper from the second piece of tear and tape that you placed at the top of the strip, and tuck the top end into the box between the flaps.
Now you are ready to wrap the DSP around the cup, I start by removing the protective paper from the tear and tape on one end only. I place that end right in the middle of the back of the cup. Next, I wrap the DSP around the box burnishing each edge as I round each corner. Go all the way around the cup until you meet up where you started. Adhere.
Below are my embellishments and a piece of scrap white cardstock. Just use any scrap to stamp your sentiment on. I used Lovely Lipstick ink. Framelits cut out the DSP heart. You can find all of the product that I used in the product list below.
I added ribbon, pearls, and a little flower just to doll up my project a bit more. Now all you need to do is fill your cup as desired.
You will notice in the video that I used a variety of candy to fill the cups. I did that to show you that so many different candies fit in this cup.
You certainly can make this cup for any occasion. So don’t get stuck on ONLY VALENTINES, try a birthday cup or a baby favor. Show me your ideas. I would love to see them.
I will be giving these cups to all who order from me this month. I handed one out yesterday and she LOVED it. I will hand out more today. Hopefully, my customers are all thrilled with their special little gift.

Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Today I want to share with you something that has been placed upon my heart. AND I need your help.
As Valentines Day approaches I’ve been thinking about the elderly, specifically those in assisted living facilities, rest homes or those who live alone.
It is a Valentines Day tradition that we share our love with a card, candy, flowers or a gift of some type. But, what about those who don’t have anyone? What about those who are not told that they are loved on this special day?
Let’s do something about that. Let’s get together and make as many Valentines as we can. We will give them to those who may not receive one otherwise.
On SUNDAY JANUARY 28th (my place) starting at 2 p.m I would like as many of us as possible to make Valentines for our elders. I will supply everything, EVEN DINNER. All you need to do is bring your bone folder and snips (if you have those items). If you don’t have supplies no worries I have some that you can use.
The more of us that help, the more cards we can make and the more people we can help feel loved on Valentines Day.
I can almost see the residents sweet faces when they are given a homemade card. Just the thought warms my heart.
Please call me at 209-835-8343 or email me at [email protected] or comment on this post to let me know that you want to participate. Don’t worry about your card making skills. No matter your skill level your help is needed.
Below is a photo of the card we will make. There will be many jobs like cutting card stock, embossing the layer piece, stamping the solid red heart, cutting out the heart, tying bows and so on. I am dreaming of an assembly line of friends new and old, stamping, visiting and creating Valentines. All of which were made from the heart.
If you have these stamp sets and you want to bring them with you please do. The more supplies (inks and stamps) that we have on hand the better.
For dinner, we will have a healthy grilled chicken salad with all the fixings, French bread, and coffee, tea or bottled water.
I’m so excited about this event ladies. I hope you can help. Please RSVP so I can prepare accordingly.

This NEW bundle is so so beautiful… I have had so much fun creating with it. With this bundle you can make a variety of boxes, a little purse, Valentines, love notes and much much more.
Who doesn’t love hearts? Hearts have such meaning, they are a sweet symbol of love and caring. This bundle has many hearts in it. Its all about LOVE.
To embellish the heart I added ink to the folder placed the heart into the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. Isn’t an embossed heart prettier than a plain heart? I think so.
Did you know that the acetate boxes are still available? YES!!! yes they are. You will find them listed in the Carry Over Flyer and below in my product listing . I love those boxes. I’m so glad we can still get them. Today I’m sharing how I filled a box with gold wrapped chocolates for Valentines Day.
We will be making this LOVE box treat plus two other projects at Super Stampers on Wednesday January 25th at 10:00am. Do you want to attend? This group welcomes guests. Just let me know that you want to come. Invite your friends too, I just need to know how many are coming so I can prepare for you.
This project is so simple… you just cover the front of the box with the easy to stamp design and you are done. Ribbon adds a lot to this little gift. I think I may spray the ribbon with adhesive and add dazzling diamonds to it so it sparkles like crazy.
Okay my friends, thanks for stopping in.

LOOK at all that texture!!!
And a coordinating envelope. I love those lips.
I’ve been busy making Valentines as you know, here is another one made with the Sealed With Love Bundle. On pages 14 and 15 of the Occasions Stampin’ Up! Catalog you will find a spectacular spread. SU provides everything you need to create away with LOVE in mind. Don’t get stuck on Valentines, this vignette will work all year round for any occasion, just change up the colors. I see weddings, thinking of you and just love reminders. I’ve been using the traditional white and red, I think it’s crisp and clean simple and sweet. But change it up, there are so many color combos.
I really want to know what you think. So if I get 10 or more comments today, I’m going to randomly pick one of them and send one of you a little goodie. Sound good? Comment away!!!

I LOVE how Christmas is all about the love of Jesus Christ and now Valentines Day is all about the love of our sweethearts. Love is precious and makes the world go round. To celebrate this day of love I’ve started designing cards. Here is one of the Valentines.
I’ve also written some love notes to insert into the Valentines. These Valentines are special and made with love. I hope you like them. You too can make Valentines or you can order them from me, whichever meets your fancy.
