Sunday’s Focus

Good morning!   Last night on my Sunday Focus Facebook live I demonstrated how to make your own stamped transfer paper.  You can go to my Facebook business page to watch the replay.

I’m posting the Stampin’ Up! items that I used below.  If you need anything just let me know or you can go to my store on the side bar here on my blog to order on-line.

The non- Stampin’ Up! items that you will need are

  1.  Parchment paper
  2. An hot iron
  3. A piece of cardboard that fits inside of the bag
  4. Scrap paper to capture your embossing powder.

Sunday’s Focus Loot

Look at all of the loot that I shared last night during my Facebook live Sunday’s focus.

The darling Project Kit Sincerely Santa is a kit that has everything to make 30 Christmas tags.  But as you know I like to create outside the box and see what else we can do with our paper products, so that is what I want to share with you today.

First I want to show you a couple of the tags made according to the project kit instructions.

When I made my first tag I instantly thought that I needed to use one as an embellishment to something else.  I couldn’t just use them as tags, they are just too special.

The tags are layered and full of texture.  Simply said they are eye candy.  I feel that you can do so much more than embellishing a gift with them.

I decided to add them to the gift card holders.   In the photo below two gift card holders are embellished using tags.  The other two gift card holders were embellished using stamps, ink, and punches.

To make the gift card holder  I used the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper.  If you want to know how to make this cute holder you can go to my Facebook business page @ Stampinalldaywithbev and watch last nights recording.

Did you know that on Sunday’s nights I go live?  If you didn’t know, you can go there now and watch the recordings.  Then set yourself a reminder to watch me next Sunday at 7 p.m. Pacific time.

In the photo below is a picture of the inside of the holders.  The center pop up is made to hold a gift card or cash.

In the annual catalog, we also have this adorable silver gable boxes.  All you need to do to dress this box up is to add a tag. How cute is that?

How about making your Christmas cards with the kit?  Wow, just by layering the pieces of the kit and adding them to a card is quick easy and so so cute.  The only part of the embellishment that is not in the kit is the Buffalo stripe strip.

I love to make Christmas tree ornaments.  So I added a tag to a small wreath.  At Target in the dollar spot, you will find Christmas garland.  The garland is three dollars, but you can make 4 or 5 wreaths with it.  The number of wreaths you make depends on how thick you want your wreaths.  Again for instruction on what I did here just watch the Facebook live video.

Remember gift cards are given all year round.  So use designer series paper that you have and make one today.  When you see how easy it is, you will make them over and over again. Below is a Birthday one.

I hope you enjoyed the Facebook Live last night and if you missed it I hope you go watch today.  Let me know what you think about my quick and easy ideas.
