Gift Box In A Card Class

Isn’t this a fantastic idea? You can set this gift box card on a desk for a co-worker, at the place setting of a special friend or anywhere it will get noticed by the recipient.

While I was on the Thailand Incentive trip with Stampin’ Up!  Sandy Carlson shared this amazing idea.  I now want to share it with you.  In order to do that I’ve scheduled a class for October 13th at 6p.m.  What better way to spend Friday the 13th than making a cute Christmas card, right?  No bad luck that day, instead a whole lot of fun and creativity.

Remember all you have to do to change up this card is change the designer series paper.  This gift box card can be used for any occasion.  Anytime you are giving a gift and a card this card will make a very special statement.

When I first saw this card I noticed that there were no instructions for a card lining.  It didn’t look finished to me so I figured out how to line the inside of the card.  The cards that we make will be lined and have a finished look.  Another thing about this card, you don’t need an envelope.

When you arrive to class, your packet will be ready for you.  Everything will be cut out and ready to go.  You will take home written instructions and measurements so that you can easily make this card over and over again.

Date:  Friday October 13

Time:  6p.m

Cost: A minimum $20.00 order that night.

If this date or time does not work for you, just let me know.  We can get together when you have the time to come sit and relax and create with me.

Do you need this class sent to you in the mail?  Let me know and I can do that too.

Enjoy your day my friends, Live Loved ~  Beverlee

Merry Patterns

I just love FREE stuff!  Stampin’ Up! is offering an exclusive stamp set called ” Merry Patterns”  to all who qualify and its FREE.  This free set is in addition to the regular hostess gifts that you earn when you host an event that reaches $300.00 in sales.

My original design below is ONE of the cards I made as soon as my set arrived.  I’ve made three cards so far.  I will be showing you a card a day for the next three days.

In this first picture the photo shop lights didn’t let all the detail show up, so below the first picture I’m posting a close up so you can see the YUMMY DETAIL.

I don’t think I’ve ever had so many beautiful Christmas stamp sets to choose from.  This years Holiday Catalog has so many choices.  And now in addition to everything else we have this marvoleous stamp set.

So far I’ve made cards using the greeting and the deer in the set.  I still have to create using the candles.  I’m excited to see all the different looks you can create  The embellishments in both the Holiday Catalog and the Annual catalog just add even more yumminess.

So what do you think?  I’m sure you already have the wood plank folder.  You most likely have all the inks, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.  Check out the Black Rhinestone Jewels.  Those jewels are actually in the Halloween section of the Holiday catty page 53, but look at how great they look with this set.  The black just pops.

I’m thrilled with this freebie, I hope you get a chance to earn it too.  Grab some friends, order together to create the required amount.  Host a class, workshop or splurge and get all the things you need and want so that you qualify.  I can not list the stamp set in the product list because it can not be purchased.  “Merry Pattern Stamp Set” will automatically be added to your order once you qualify.  The deadline is October 31st.

Stitched Felt Embellishments

As I mentioned before,  I love the Stitched Felt Embellishments and the Boxwood Wreaths.  I also said that I had a bunch of ideas on how to use them.  Tonight I’m showing you another quick and easy way to add the Christmas spirit to little linen bags.

This bag shows off the Boxwood Wreath as well as the Real Red 1/8″ Ribbon.  Every bag shows off the Mini Tinsel Trim.  The trim is a combo pack and comes in Real Red and Silver.

Oh Christmas Tree…. I added a Rhinestone to the top and a twig and bow to the bottom that is it.

As I was getting ready to snap a photo I tied the bags together.  WOW a garland!  To cute.  I will add more bags to these until I come up with a length that I like.  Sweet, don’t ya think?

Holly.  Simple sweet and very festive.

The star of the show, just add a Rhinestone.

What an easy project. I’m very pleased.  Come see it in person tomorrow at OPEN HOUSE.  I’m open from noon until 8p.m

Today I’m sharing my NOEL project with you.

When I see embellishments like these in our catalogs I automatically think of 3-D projects.  I ordered a few packs of the Mini Ornaments, the Stitched Felt Embellishments and the Wreaths.  The 1/8″ Real Red Ribbon is perfect for any project or on cards so I bought a spool of that too.  Burlap is a medium that I always love so I complimented a few of the Stitched Felt Embellishments with it.

The letters are a great size however they were a little blah.  I sprayed them with an adhesive and then sprinkled them with a large grade glitter.  Once the letters were dry I added the embellishments.

I think it turned out great.

A close up for you.

September’s Super Stampers

The Night in Bethlehem Bundle is stunning.  The Edgelits Dies are amazing.  This card was designed by Lori Constant and myself.  Yesterday morning Lori and I worked together to create our version of this amazing night.

Take a moment to look at all the movement that this card seems to have.  The flow of the texture and the addition of the silver thread all give you a feeling of a breeze.  The silver foil paper and the black card stock imply night.  The glimmer paper star creates the light in the darkness.  This card is absolutely stunning in person and my SUPER STAMPER GROUP gets to make it on Sept 27th.

Super Stampers is a group of ladies who attend a class once every other month.  The group makes three cards at each class, shares a snack and coffee all while creating.  The ladies take turns earning the hostess gifts that this class generates so it’s a win win situation.  YOU can be a guest at this class if you wish.  I always make two extra packets incase someone wants to attend.  The cost of this class is a minimum $25.00 order.

We always have a great time at super stampers.  The ladies are a joy to work with.

Thank you Lori for assisting me yesterday, your input helped create this amazing card.

Very Vintage Spool Christmas Tree

Happy Wednesday friends!  So I have a question for you.  What do you do with all those thread spools that you have laying around? Did you ever think you could make a Christmas tree with them?

My friend Liz Isa inspired me to create with spools.  Liz gave gave me a bag full of spools and as she handed them to me she said, ” I know you will do something with these’.  What a challenge. I couldn’t let Liz down.  I had to come up with something.  Well while surfing Pinterest I saw a Christmas tree made with spools, so I decided to try and make one.

I had all the items needed to make the tree, so I got busy. First I spray painted everything white.  Then I wrapped Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper around each spool using Multipurpose Glue.   Next I hot glued everything together.  After I constructed the tree I sprayed it with adhesive and sprinkled a large grain glitter all over it.   Stampin’ Up! has the perfect embellishments in the NEW HOLIDAY CATALOG.  I used ribbons, a thinlit, glimmer paper, one mini ornament and rhinestones to create the perfect holiday look.

Well Liz, I hope I didn’t disappoint you, I tried my best to make something beautiful with the gift of spools.
