I can not even tell you how much fun I’m having with my new Stampin’ Up! Blends. These markers are amazing, they blend easily just as their name suggests. I can’t wait to show you how to use them.
When the annual catalog was first released the very first bundle I wanted was this one ” Birthday Delivery”. This bundle is vintage in style, which is right up my alley. The stamp set not only has a bunch of super cute images in it, it also has a ton of sentiments. A set that has images as well as sentiments is a great value. This Bundle also has coordinating Designer Series Paper. Check it all out on page 69 of the current annual catalog.
With the New Stampin’ Blends I can color my heart out. Once I show you how to blend with these markers you will be in love too.
The photo above captures the cake in the stamp set. Isn’t it beautiful? In order to prevent bleeding or smearing you must first stamp your images using Momento Ink. After stamping with Momento ink you can freely blend away.
Here is the cute fox in the set. The banner he is holding is a separate stamp as well as the sentiment inside the banner. This stamp set has 23 Photopolymer stamps in the set. WOW! that is a lot.
I hope you enjoyed learning about the new Stampin’ blends. I will let you know when you can order the blends, right now they are only available to demonstrators. As soon as hear that the markers are available I will let you know.
You have a GREAT evening and thanks again for visiting.

Good morning friends and welcome back to my blog.
Today I’m introducing you to Stampin’ Up’s newest product. They are called Stampin’ Blends.
My Stampin’ Blends arrived last week, so I started playing with them so that when the blends are released to the public I can teach you how to use them.
On this card I want to point out a few things. Notice that I used sponge rollers to sponge three colors over the complete card. I used Soft Suede ink to imply the earth at the bottom of the card. Next I sponged Daffodil Delight in the center of the card to bring out the sun and lastly I sponged Soft Sky ink at the top of the card to mimic a clear sky.
The other thing that I want to point out is that I embossed the floral image and the sentiment. I did that because I find that embossing an image before blending color gives me a border which helps me to stay within the lines. Your marker will touch the embossed lines and stay within them better.
If you like to color you are going to love this additional way of blending color. Blending color gives your work an additional artist look.
Thank you for visiting~

Yesterday was JoNell’s birthday. Today she attended my Christmas card making class so I made her this card. I cased this card from Pinterest, isn’t it adorable? While the idea is the same my card is different because it is made with Stampin’ Up! product.
We celebrated JoNell’s birthday with lemonaid filled strawberry cupcakes and card making. After we finished our cupcakes I realised that I didn’t take a picture. Ugh! I hate it when that happens. All in all It was a fun afternoon. Happy Birthday JoNell! It was great stamping with you.

Happy Monday friends!
At my August 24th class we will be making four cards. Last week I showed you card #1. Today I want to show you the second card that you will make. The other two cards will be a surprise. It’s always so much fun to see the reactions I get when you come to class and see your projects for the first time.
I’m excited about this class because there are a few things that are different about it. First, you will make four cards (usually we make three). Second, all of the cards are simple and easy to make. Third, you can attend the class at the time you pick.
Currently I have ladies scheduled at noon, another guest at 5:15, and one gal’s time is to be determined. What time fits your schedule? I want you to know that I’m here for you. I’m here to meet your needs. All you have to do is contact me so we can schedule your time.
The card I’m showing you today is made using Whisper White card stock and Archival Basic Black Ink. There is no coloring, no fussy cutting, or any time consuming techniques on this one. This card is basic yet elegant. The subtle details of this card come from the variety of angles. I think this lay out is one you will reproduce often.
My customers are always pleasantly surprised when they see the cards that I post in person. Often they say, “ooooh this is so much prettier than the picture”. (Sigh) I wish I was a better photographer! Any suggestions?
To sign up all you need to do is send me a quick message or email and you’re in. The cost of class is a minimum $20.00 order that day.
IF YOU BRING A NEW FRIEND TO CLASS, YOU BOTH WILL GET $5.00 OFF OF YOUR ORDERS TOTAL.
Thanks for visiting, have a great evening.

Today we are attending a party for Kayla. Kayla is headed to the University of Alabama and everyone wants to wish her well. I made this card to let Kayla know that we are proud of her, excited for her and to help her send off a little more special.
Above is a close up of the focal point . I wanted to make sure that you could see the stitching on the circles as well as the texture from the Pinewood Plank folder.
The A is from the large letters dies, I’m so glad I finally got those dies, I find myself using them all of the time. I chose to make Kayla’s card using the University’s colors while keeping her card simple and to the point. I hope Kayla likes it.
Thank you for stopping in, have a blessed weekend and see you on Monday.

My granddaughter is my pocketful of sunshine that is for sure. She is so happy go lucky, a free spirit and very comfortable in her own skin. I just admire her confidence and her belief that she can do anything.
Heatherann turns 22 today so at open house yesterday I made her this card. This card fits her perfectly, it’s a happy card, bright and cheery just like her. I think Heatherann’s future is so bright that she needs to wear sunglasses, lol.
Isn’t this Pocket Full Of Sunshine stamp set fun? One of my customers Mei used it yesterday. Mei wanted to case a card I had received in the Thailands card swap. The original card was made from a combination of two stamp sets, Pocket Full Of Sunshine and Lemon Zest. I don’t have the Lemon Zest set so I suggested using the stamp set Flourishing Phrases instead. I thought that the large flower image in the Flourishing Phrases set would be a great background just like the bold lemon was from the Lemon Zest stamp set. Sure enough it worked perfectly.
Everyone in attendance yesterday loved Mei’s creation. I decided to change it up a bit to make Heatherann a birthday card. Adding the sunglasses made this card perfect for her. The Thinlits make cutting out the pocket and the sunglasses a snap. I love how the set even has the little pocket tab on the side. Such detail.
Others decided to stamp pockets and glasses once they saw how cute they were. Now they can create cards at home using the images they took home. My guests used different colors each one of them was so cute. This set is way more versatile than I thought it would be. I’m thinking the pocket and those cowboy/girl boots from the set Country Livin’ would be adorable also.
Ahhh so many stamps, so little time….. I better get busy.
