Yesterday at Open house everyone L❤️VED making the apple card that I showed you in yesterday’s post.
It was fun teaching everyone how to use this stamp set. They were all amazed. This set is not hard to use, you just have to know which stamp to use in what order. And you need to know what colors work best to make the apple look real.
With the help of the Stamparatus, you can’t go wrong.
I can see so ways to use this set. Here is my list of occasions that this set would be perfect for
- Teacher cards
- Apple of my eye
- An apple a day keeps the doctor away ( get well)
- The apple doesn’t fall from the tree ( good job, congratulations)
- Fall cards, Halloween
- Summer picnic
- Carmel apple goodie bag with an apple tag
Just to name a few…
So this is a card that I put together during the open house yesterday. Lori helped me. Lori made the green apples for me. Lori put together different greens to see which ones work best. As a result of her experimenting, we now have a list of colors that we feel are the best to use. Thank you, Lori!!!!
Here are the colors combinations that we used
Red Apple – Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Cherry Cobbler and So Saffron
Green Apple – Garden Green, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and So Saffron. OR Garden Green, Granny Apple, Old Olive and So Saffron OR Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple and So Saffron.
When you choose the color combo that you like, stamp them in the order that I listed.
For the card base, I used my favorite fold again. I fell in love with this card. In person, this card is striking. I’m totally in love with this stamp set.
So, what do you think? If you want to learn more about this set and technique just let me know.
NOTE: I have an order going in today at 2p.m. Let me know if you need anything.

Good afternoon my friends! Today I’m sharing a special order that I’m working on.
A friend asked me to make her a set of cards for an upcoming special mass. I’m honored that she asked me to make the cards. I know that this is a very important service and that the cards are going to touch the hearts of her family.

So, whooo is your lovely friend? Whoooo can you send this sweet card to?
Last night I made this little she-owl. I had seen a card where the owl eyes were made with roses. I intended to case it, but when I got to my shop, I decided to use my NEW framelits again. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the stitching detail that this framelit set has.
This special owl is quite sassy. The Designer Series Paper is flashy, those splashes of gold really catch your eye. To add to the sassiness my owl is wearing a little fancy apron trimmed in vanilla and black lace ooh la la. Plus a flower is poking out from the pocket.
I think this card is perfect to send to a lovely friend. I stamped the words Lovely and Friend directly onto the cute ticket cut-out. I stamped the words off to the left so that I could add that adorable heart. I think I told you before, that I would be using that heart a lot. I knew I would.
This color is so soft ( it is called Powder Pink) , I just love it. I know I know, I love everything. Yes, that is true I do love everything, I can’t help it Stampin’ Up! products are so awesome.
This owl was fun to put together and bring to life. I know whooo I’m sending this one to. I have a very special friend whoooo is sassy, splendid and whooo I adore. I think she needs to know how lovely I think she is.
My super stampers are going to get to make this she-owl at class. Let me know if you want to make her also. You can come to class or schedule another time that works for you.

Hello friends, It’s been a while since we have met. I know everyone is busy because of the holidays and so was I but now I’m back and ready to roll. I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was spectacular. Ours was. Dad is all better ( he had been in the hospital). But now things are getting back to our normal and everything is getting easier around here. I definitely have a lot to be thankful for.
Another blessing is my Super Stamper Group #2. These ladies are very special to me. This group starts their second round of Super Stampers classes tomorrow. I thought this card would be a wonderful project number 3 for them. This card is all about embossing. There is both gold and copper embossing on this beauty. The combination is absolutely gorgeous. Music notes are always striking so it was fitting that the cards focal point is backed with them. This elegant card is packed with texture, and natural color tones. Because of the natural tone, this card is masculine in nature. Masculine cards are hard to come up with, so store this one in your bag of tricks.
Layering the Vintage leafs into a cut out frame really attracts me. I love how a cut out window helps the leaves look stacked and arranged with dimension.
This card could be given for any occasion, but in this case I’m saying congratulations. I think that the colors and glow are perfect for the holidays too. This card is very versatile and that is a very good thing.
I thank you for visiting again. I hope you enjoyed yourself while you were here, come back soon. Remember OPEN HOUSE is the first Thursday of each month. Come create, I’m open from noon until 8pm
Have a blessed day my friends, thank you for popping in.

Good evening my friends. I want to share with you a card that I’m excited to send to my friend Erin. Erin recently went to Waco Texas. She went to Texas to visit the Magnolia Market and Silos. While there Erin thought of me. I can’t believe it. Erin brought me a cupcake from the famous Silo bakery. I’m here to tell you that the cupcake was amazing!!! It was lemon and lavender, crazy delicious.
I think Erin will love this card. Erin loves, lace, ruffles and boots so I know this card will make her smile just like the cupcake made me smile.
Y’all know who Chip and Joanna Gaines are right? They are the owners of Magnolia Farms and Silo’s. They are the creators of Fixer Upper my all time favorite DIY television show. They have a huge shop (in the silo’s) a bakery, a bed and breakfast and they buy and fix up homes for their clients. They transform homes that are in great need of restoration and turn them into their clients dream homes. Joanna is a designer and interior decorator among other things. And her husband is a real estate agent and a licensed contractor. They both have written books but most of all they are Christian. I love their show, I even watch the reruns and I enjoy them every time. This couple is an inspiration to many, they are bringing Waco back to life one home at a time. The new season of Fixer Upper starts two days after Thanksgiving, but it’s their last season….. that makes me sad.
So anyway I gave you all of that information just incase you were wondering why cowgirl boots were the focal point on this card. Joanna wears them, and Erin and I love all the other elements, so together it’s perfect.
